The Education Institute, a project of the Ontario Library Association, is holding an online workshop in SL on March 18 at 1 PM ET.
The workshop is entitled “A Tour of InfoIsland, Second Life” and is hosted by Jill Hurst-Wahl. It will explore SL for librarians and will show what InfoIsland can do for libraries. Key topics include:

- How and why are libraries getting involved?
- What are the issues relating to this on-line virtual world?
- What resources are in the InfoIsland Archipelago?
- Tips for effective use of Second Life for libraries
