Medical Records Simulation in SL

Over at Science Roll, John Norris, a technology expert and graduate candidate in Biomedical Informatics, is interviewed about his experiences attempting to insert electronic medical records into the Ann Myers Medical Center, a virtual hospital housed in SL.

The short interview touches on the technological specifics of his work and the advantages of using SL for this type of application. Norris says:

“I think it can give a more fuller experience to medical simulations, incorporating medical records, scheduling, and the like while in SL.”
