As time passes, increasingly diverse groups are using Second Life’s virtual space to meet. Now, what is perhaps the first group of midwives will meet in SL to discuss education and conferencing activities.
Organized by Carolyn, a midwifery lecturer in New Zealand, the conference will bring together people from NZ, Australia and the United Kingdom to for educational purposes.
It’s starting to feel like SL’s use as an education platform is a given, that it’s now an issue of sorting out best practices and looking at deeper blended learning opportunities.
